Hotel & Location: CanSecWest happens in Coal Harbour, on downtown Vancouver's waterfront — the conference hotel looks straight across Burrard Inlet at the North Shore mountains, with the Stanley Park seawall a few minutes' walk one direction and Canada Place, Gastown, and the city's densest stretch of restaurants and bars the other. Getting here is simple: the Canada Line runs from YVR to Waterfront Station in 25 minutes, the seaplane terminal is on the next block, and once you've arrived you won't need a car all week.
It's also one of the best-served hotel districts in the city: beyond the venue itself, eight quality hotels sit within a twelve-minute walk, two of them literally on the same block — so even with our room block sold out, nobody ends up far from the conference floor.
